Welcome John Cotton to the Team!

Please join me in welcoming our newest colleague, John Cotton, who will serve as a Jr. Estimator on our Construction team!  

John joins us with two years in the construction industry. His previous experience includes being a construction assistant/interim project manager, building engineer, and community assistant.

As a construction assistant, John created daily job site reports for the project manager and owner, conducted job site inspections, and oversaw the site preparation and management. As a building engineer, John oversaw the team of student workers who completed daily tasks and maintenance across the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus. 

Fun Fact: Prior to joining VPG, John went on two mission trips to Peru and Haiti, as well as four service trips. He also used to play rugby and football! When John isn’t estimating, you can find him cooking, reading, or gaming. 

John has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
